When regular barefoot shoes, despite their low weight and flexibility, still feel too heavy and bulky, and regular socks do not provide enough protection, there is now a third option: Skinners Comfort.
These socks combine a 3mm durable polymer sole from Sweden with an upper made of Italian fibers. The result is that you feel the ground under your feet while being protected from sharp rocks and branches. The wide toe box gives your toes room to spread out, reducing pressure that can otherwise lead to bunions and hammertoes.
With zero drop construction, your foot maintains its natural position. It strengthens the foot muscles and reduces the strain on the hips and knees. Many users notice a difference after the first walk - their feet feel less tired at the end of the day.
The ultra-low weight of 180g per pair means they disappear into your backpack. When you're hiking and need a break from your boots, it takes five seconds to change. When you're home from your trip, throw them in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Easy.
The 2mm perforated insoles can be removed for more ground feel, or left in for extra comfort on cold surfaces. The sole itself keeps water out in shallow puddles, but the upper dries quickly after a dip.

We need about 5-10 business days to pack and ship each order, except for products from Saltic, where it takes about 10-15 business days due to the manufacturing process. - Warehouse: We currently have warehouses in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia.
- Shipping : Our shipping fee is normally 69 SEK for standard shipping.
- Right of withdrawal : You always have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days according to the Swedish Distance Selling Act. This is counted from the day you receive your order. Returns made after the right of withdrawal has expired and up to 30 days will be refunded with a store credit on your customer page that you can use for new purchases.
- Complaints : If the product is defective, you have a warranty according to the Consumer Purchase Act. We want you to feel satisfied, so contact us immediately if you experience any problems and we will do our utmost to fix or replace your purchase.

Why are barefoot shoes good?
Regular shoes are often too tight, which has squeezed your toes together for years. You may get hallux valgus, which requires surgery, or maybe a heel spur that takes months to heal.
Your toes need their space.
Your toes are probably squeezed into regular shoes like most people. Maybe you have pain in your feet or toes. Most often it is the big toe that takes the most damage. If you walk for too long, you can develop Hallux Valgus which becomes so bad that surgery is required.
With barefoot shoes, you give your toes space and allow your feet to strengthen. Many people experience a dramatic difference in just a couple of weeks.
