Some boots claim to be tough. Others are used by NATO armies in the field. The Samelin 734 falls into the latter category – uncompromising military quality, built to withstand situations where failure is not an option.
These are not street boots modified with a military aesthetic. These are genuine military boots manufactured to the NATO AQAP 2110 quality system – the same standard required for equipment destined for combat. Each pair undergoes rigorous quality control according to the same protocols required by NATO armies.
Model 734 is the further development of the proven 736, now with reinforced TPU toe cap for extra protection against impacts and wear. The toe and heel are also reinforced with thermoplastic – strategic reinforcement where it is needed most without making the boot unnecessarily heavy or stiff.
The waterproof chrome-tanned leather in a smooth finish combines military ruggedness with a sleek look. Thick enough to withstand anything, treated to repel water and moisture, yet flexible enough to mold to your foot as you break it in. This is leather that gets better with time, not worse.
The 4-layer PTFE membrane is superiorly waterproof and the material is breathable, even in demanding conditions.
Stainless eyelets and hooks up the entire shaft give you full control over how you lace up – tight around the ankle for support, looser higher up for mobility. Strategic hooks speed up lacing without compromising security.
The anatomical insole is shock-absorbing, antibacterial, breathable and washable – designed to keep feet comfortable even during long days in the field. Removable for adjustment or replacement as needed.
The dual PU/rubber sole combines soft shock absorption closest to the foot with hard, wear-resistant rubber against the ground. Oil-resistant and slip-resistant – reliable grip regardless of the surface.
As with all full-leather military boots, they require some breaking in. It takes time to mold thick, quality leather to your feet. But once they're broken in, you'll have boots that can handle any situation - year after year.
