Avoid ballerina shoes that slip off or feel loose when you walk. Arwen has a well-thought-out lacing system that tightens from the side. This means that the shoe wraps the foot tightly and securely without squeezing – you get a stable fit without having to worry about whether the shoe will fall off or not.
The printed leather gives the shoe a stylish look without being too much. The pattern is printed on high-quality leather with a breathable Cambrelle lining. The shoe has rubber protection at the front of the toe, which means that the leather does not wear or get damaged when you bump into things - a smart detail that significantly extends the lifespan. The wide toe box gives room for the toes to spread out naturally and the zero drop construction provides a natural stance throughout the body.
But what really sets Saltic apart from others is the construction. Instead of sewing the upper and sole together in the traditional way, Saltic shoes are sewn like a "sock" and then have the sole glued on. It sounds strange, but the result is a shoe that molds to your foot and becomes extra comfortable. And even more importantly - when the sole is worn out, you just send the shoes back to Saltic in the Czech Republic and they will replace the sole for you for a fraction of the price of new shoes. We at Tjåkko help you in the process. The Extasy Fix sole is the same rubber compound used in climbing shoes, which provides fantastic grip even on slippery surfaces.

We need about 5-10 business days to pack and ship each order, except for products from Saltic, where it takes about 10-15 business days due to the manufacturing process. - Warehouse: We currently have warehouses in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia.
- Shipping : Our shipping fee is normally 69 SEK for standard shipping.
- Right of withdrawal : You always have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days according to the Swedish Distance Selling Act. This is counted from the day you receive your order. Returns made after the right of withdrawal has expired and up to 30 days will be refunded with a store credit on your customer page that you can use for new purchases.
- Complaints : If the product is defective, you have a warranty according to the Consumer Purchase Act. We want you to feel satisfied, so contact us immediately if you experience any problems and we will do our utmost to fix or replace your purchase.

Classic shoes:
In classic shoes, the toes are squeezed together, the foot is placed in an unnatural position and during long walks we can feel discomfort and a great relief when we get home and have to take off our shoes. Long-term use of such shoes can lead to foot problems such as Hallux valgus and Morton's syndrome.
Barefoot shoes:
In barefoot shoes, there must be enough space for the entire foot to maintain its natural shape. This provides maximum comfort and the toes can be spread out as needed, which increases walking stability. Other important aspects are maximum flexibility and a thin sole that has zero drop.
Why are barefoot shoes good?
Regular shoes are often too tight, which has squeezed your toes together for years. You may develop hallux valgus, which requires surgery, or perhaps a heel spur that takes months to heal.
Your toes need their space.
Your toes are probably squeezed into regular shoes like most people. Maybe you have pain in your feet or toes. Most often it is the big toe that takes the most damage. If you walk for too long, you can develop Hallux Valgus which becomes so bad that surgery is required.
With barefoot shoes, you give your toes space and allow your feet to strengthen. Many people experience a dramatic difference in just a couple of weeks.
